Cookie Policy
Videozify does not set a cookie to convert a file. Google AdSense, which funds the free tools, may store cookies and similar identifiers so ads can be shown and, where allowed, personalized. You can opt out of personalized ads in Google Ads Settings.
This cookie policy is part of our Privacy Policy. Last updated 2026-09-07.
What is a cookie?
A cookie is a small text file a site or its partners store in your browser. Similar tools include pixels and local storage. They can remember a preference, measure a page view, or help an ad network know you have seen a site before.
Cookies we do not use for conversion
Dropping a file, running ffmpeg in WebAssembly, and downloading the result does not require a cookie. We do not use a cookie to keep a conversion history. Close the tab and the in-memory blobs are gone.
Advertising cookies (Google AdSense)
Third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads based on a user’s prior visits to this website or other websites. Google’s use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads based on your visit to this and/or other sites.
These cookies may include the DoubleClick cookie and other Google advertising cookies. They can record that you visited Videozify, which pages you opened, and coarse data such as IP address and browser type. They are not used to read the media file in the dropzone.
Google explains this in How Google uses cookies in advertising.
How to control cookies
Opt out of personalized Google ads: adssettings.google.com. Opt out of many other companies’ interest-based ads: aboutads.info/choices or youronlinechoices.eu.
Every major browser lets you block or delete cookies in its settings. Blocking advertising cookies may mean you still see ads, just less tailored ones. The converter will still run.
Essential and hosting cookies
The host or CDN that serves Videozify may set a strictly necessary cookie for security, load balancing, or DDoS protection. Those are not advertising cookies and are not used to profile you for ads.
